This new show reaches deep into Anishnaabe culture through art and artifacts. Familiar names like celebrated First Nations artist,  Norval Morrisseau and less well known artist like Toronto photographer Keesic Douglas share space in this first of it’s kind exhibit. July 24th marked the start of the 7th annual Toronto Burlesque Festival. The festival ran from the 24th to the 27th and, in the true tradition of burlesque, there were elaborate costumes, story telling, lots of great dancing and a whole lot of humour.
