First Listen: Worst Pop Band Ever - Blackout

    Friday, 06 November 2015 16:42

    Written by Brad Barker

Toronto’s WPBE cite influences from Wayne Shorter to Levon Helm and call their music a cross between improvisational jazz and indie pop.

Their new album is called Blackout and its a look back the 2003 Great Northeast Blackout from a Toronto Perspective: a concept album, if you will.

Here are the members of the band and how they describe what they do in the band:  Tim Shia (booms), Chris Gale (squawks), Adrean Farrugia (plinks), Dafydd Hughes Drew (plonks), LEO37(woojahs), Drew Birston (da bass)
