    Twilight Jazz Series: Melissa-Marie Shriner Quartet

    Presented by DPLU Music, Mahtay Café and Lounge, JADE and the TD Niagara Jazz Festival, the Twilight Jazz Series is a monthly jazz series held in St. Catharines, Niagara Region, Ontario. Powerful raw emotions combined with a highly trained silky-smooth tone describes vocalist Melissa-Marie Shriner, who joins forces with celebrated musicians Bob Shields, guitar, Clark Johnston, upright bass and Peter Shea, drums, to present an evening of music from the Great American Songbook along with Christmas classics, sure to warm the heart in nostalgia and lift the spirit! Niagara native Melissa-Marie Shriner is a well known and versatile performer in both the jazz and operatic traditions. She performs in recitals, concerts, and self-produced shows throughout southern Ontario and upstate New York and received her Bachelors of Music (Honours) at Brock University focusing in vocal and choral performance.
