(SCJ year round jazz festival- Inaugural event Sept 20th 2014) is a corporation founded and directed by industry (Music, Theatre, TV & Film, Producer) professional Juliann Kuchocki Actra, Socan, C.A.E.A. Current Board members are Juliann Kuchocki, Zarina Patel and Gerry Hamill. Ms Kuchocki brings SCJ and over 30 years of professional experience in front and behind the scenes to this community event and will feature the wineries, restaurants, growers, local businesses, and world class jazz music through South Coast Jazz in Norfolk County. SCJ’s year round festival takes place in selected venues in the Norfolk County area throughout the year, with a larger celebration in multiple venues at summer harvest. Ms Kuchocki has selected Burning Kiln and Blueberry Hill Estate Wineries as host venues for her Inaugural soft launch of SCJ, September 20th 2014 accompanied by Blueberry Hill Estate’s Market, David’s Restaurant and a Juno award winning Musical line up including a “Jazzin’Jr’s” stage celebrating Jazz artists under 18 years of age. Ontario South Coast Wines, Long Point Eco Adventures, The Brant Hill Inn, Schofield’s Bistro, Erie Music, Callahan’s Beach House, Waterous Holden Amy Hitchon, The Blue Elephant Brew House, TD Canada Trust and more are all also featured contributors and supporters for this festival. South Coast Jazz Inc. upcoming plans include a Christmas event Nov 22nd, and individual events carrying through all seasons until next summer’s grand celebration showcasing an even greater line up with added venues In the years to come, SCJ, and in particular the multiple venue summer event is planned to become an international attraction and draw a new crowd of tourists to the area. . In the years to follow, Ontario South Coast Wine, Norfolk County growers, and area businesses will have a home at South Coast Jazz Inc., where they can offer their local products, build their brands and celebrate what Norfolk County and the local and International Jazz/Blues Music world has to share. South Coast Jazz is an exquisite culinary, musical and cultural experience not yet offered in Norfolk County that is planned to become an international tourist and local celebration of Ontario’s Garden.
