Rework: Philip Glass Remixed

To honour composer Philip Glass's 75th birthday in January 2013 a group of top notch musicians will be releasing Rework: Philip Glass Remixed

Coming out October 23rd, the album came about through conversations that Glass had with Beck. In addition to Beck, the album will feature remixes by Amon Tobin, Memory Tapes, Dan Deacon and more.

The album is just one of the projects being worked on to celebrate Glass's upcoming birthday. Others include the continued Einstein On The Beach tour, and the mounting of his newest opera (finished in 2011) The Perfect American, about Walt Disney's final days.

Glass will also perform at the  All Tomorrow's Parties' I'll Be Your Mirror Festival at Pier 36 in New York this September.
