Spike Lee Working on Michael Jackson Doc

Director Spike Lee is just about finished with post-production of a documentary that focuses on Michael Jackson's album Bad and the world tour that followed its release.

The film features 40 interviews, done by Lee, with Choreographers, musicians and Jackson confidants, as well as with contemporary stars including Kanye West and Sheryl Crow (who sang back-ups on the tour).

Lee is a massive fan of Jackson's and, in a statement, remarked "having the chance to actually know him and work with him, I deeply care about his legacy." This is not the first time that he has taken on Jackson's legacy, having created the music video/mini documentary for Jackson's posthumous "This is It."

The doc, tells the story of the album and the tour which broke many records. It also delves into the short film/music videos created for the album including the Martin Scorsese directed video for the title track.
