It was announced Thursday that Mirvish Productions will shut down the Royal Alexandra Theatre for renovations following the highly successful run of Kinky Boots on May 15th. The 2.5 million dollar project will restore the theatre’s original beauty and make space for new and roomier seating. The theatre will reopen in fall 2016.
