Interview - David Clayton-Thomas

David Clayton Thomas has been working in the music business for about 50 years, now.  He’s received Grammy Awards, his own star on Canada’s Walk of Fame, and has been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

Having recorded 15 records with Blood Sweat and Tears, he’s back with his own 8th solo record “A Blues for The New World”, a collection of original compositions that range stylistically from Jazz to Gospel to Raggae but are all based in the Blues tradition.

Curious to hear more about it? Well, David stopped by Wake Up! to chat with Heather about the record, his charity work with Pine River and his impending retirement from the music industry.
