This Sunday from 8-9am, it’s another edition of Arts Toronto with your host Mark Wigmore on JAZZ.FM 91

This episode:

Blurred Lines: Inside the Art World is the latest documentary from Toronto Director Barry Avrich, and a fascinating look into the world of contemporary art. It's comprehensive investigation into the billions spent on this creative commodity, taking you around the world to meet dealers, auctioneers, critics, gallery owners and the rockstar artists themselves. Barry is welcomed to the Jazz FM91 studios to talk about his film making career, the 2 year investment in this documentary, and what he's up to during TIFF.

And, one week after the passing of Steely Dan's Walter Becker, Canadian musician Don Breithaupt offers his thoughts on the loss of a legend from his home in Los Angeles.

And they call him the African Sting. Cameroonian bassist Richard Bona has played with the best, from Pat Metheny to Harry Belafonte. Quincy Jones calls him one of the most talented dudes on the planet! Next month he will play Bravo Niagara's Voices of Freedom Festival. He speaks to Mark Wigmore from his home in New York.

All that, a look at the latest from TIFF, and beautiful jazz for a summer Sunday morning.
