“West Coast Cool” with Cheryl Bentyne and Mark Winkler – Monday, September 10, 2012 8:30PM
The JAZZ.FM91 Cabaret Series kicks off on Monday, September 10th with a must see show called “West Coast Cool” with Grammy Award winner Cheryl Bentyne of The Manhattan Transfer, accompanied by award winning singer and lyricist, Mark Winkler. For one night only in Toronto, Bentyne and Winkler pay tribute to jazz from the West Coast.

Halie Loren – Monday, October 22, 2012 8:30pm
On October 22nd, singer/songwriter Halie Loren takes to the stage. Winner of multiple songwriting awards as early as her teens, Halie Loren’s talent for phrasing and mature alto voice have earned her a number one spot on iTunes Japan and Canada jazz album charts for her 2011 album “Heart First”.

“Tribute to Randy Newman” with Roseanna Vitro – Tuesday, October 30, 2012 8:30pm
A world-wide admired performer and recording artist, Roseanna Vitro has recorded twelve critically acclaimed albums, and her release of “The Music of Randy Newman” earned a Grammy Award nomination in the “Vocal Jazz” category. She’s soulful, inventive and a story-teller with a flair for touching audiences. Vitro has headlined at The Blue Note, Jazz at Lincoln Center and The Kennedy Center in Washington DC.

Ian Shaw and Special Guests – Monday, December 3, 2012 8:30pm
Ian Shaw has amassed a number of highly acclaimed albums and is a popular performer both in the UK and Canada. An incredibly colourful character, he has been cited as one of the world's finest male jazz vocalists. His acclaimed 2006 album "Drawn to All Things - the songs of Joni Mitchell" saw him "Praised far and wide as the single greatest male jazz vocalist Britain has to offer" by Jazz Times.

Barb Jungr – Tuesday, March 12, 2013 8:30pm
Known for her distinctive vocal style, innovative musical arrangements and fierce stage presence, Barb Jungr is an internationally acclaimed jazz and cabaret vocalist.  She has toured all over the world and enjoyed critical and popular success with recordings of her own and unique interpretations of other artists’ songs.  Barb was featured in Time Out New York’s best of the year in 2010 with Best Cabaret CD of the year, and was nominated for the 26th Annual Mac Awards for Show of the Year by the Manhattan Association of Cabaret and Clubs.
