    Aaron Davis is an eclectic composer, arranger and keyboardist who is perhaps best known as a founding member of the Holly Cole Trio and as an award winning composer of music for film. He is also an accomplished choral and orchestral arranger, and has worked with a wide ranging group of artists, including Alison Krauss, Natalie McMaster, Eliana Cuevas, Sarah Slean, Leahy, the Ennis Sisters, the Canadian Brass, Quartetto Gelato, Sophie Milman, Kevin Breit and the Iseler Singers.


    Andrew Craig is a true Renaissance man in the arts: singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, producer, director, broadcaster and impresario. He is engaged in a broad range of activities in several areas of new media, including live performance, radio and television production, scoring for picture, and music theatre.

    Recognized as a leading cultural thinker, Andrew is frequently asked to offer his guidance and consultation to organizations such as the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Faculty of Fine Arts at York University, and the Toronto Arts Council.


    Growing up in Nova Scotia, Brad Barker attended St. Francis Xavier University getting his Degree in Jazz Studies as a bass major. This led to a 10 year career as a professional musician, spending 6 years recording and touring with The Pursuit of Happiness.

    Brad then moved on and studied broadcasting at Humber College, which soon turned into securing various jobs at Toronto radio stations. When the opportunity to work at JAZZ.FM91 came Brad’s way in 2001 he jumped at it. Being Operations Manager and Music Director at one of the few 24 hour-a-day jazz radio stations in the world and the chance to work with JAZZ.FM91’s members and volunteers makes for a unique and very rewarding experience.

    Brad is the host of Afternoon Drive, heard weekdays 2PM to 6PM.


    Derek Andrews is an independent arts consultant, Music Curator at Toronto's Luminato Festival, artistic director of Mundial Montreal, and is the music programmer for North York's Cultural Festival. As an Associate Member of the European Forum of Worldwide Music Festivals, Derek is an internationally recognized authority on "world music" and a passion advocate for creative approaches in music as a tool for breaking down cultural barriers.


    Jane Harbury is one of the top publicists in this country. With a client list that reads like a who’s who in the international music business, Jane has been at her work for more than 40 years. She slaves away for her clients to make sure their latest release, their new video, their award nomination, their story gets out to the public. To do a job like that you have to believe in your clients. As Jane repeatedly states, “They’re not ‘acts’. It’s not ‘product’. It’s artists and music!”


    Richard Underhill is an award winning jazz musician. A founding member of the The Shuffle Demons, he has toured Europe and Canada to critical acclaim for over 27 years. Underhill won a 2003 Juno Award for his jazz solo debut Tales from the Blue Lounge, and was nominated for the Prix du Jazz at the 2003 Montreal Jazz Festival. He followed up with the Juno nominated Moment in Time in 2005, Juno nominated Kensington Suite in 2007 and the CD/DVD Free Spirit in 2010.

    SHAKURA S'AIDA Born in Brooklyn, New York. Raised in Switzerland, Shakura S’Aida is along-time Canadian who lives in Toronto.  That’s Shakura S’Aida, a truly international artist whose involvement in the Canadian music scene has been ongoing for the almost 25 years. Along the way, she has enriched the jazz, blues and classic R&B communities with her soulful voice, enthusiastic personality and commitment to her deep soul music.


    D. Jae Gold is a professional accountant practicing principally within the music and entertainment industries.  His clients include young songwriters to the largest entertainment acts in the world. With an amazing client list, he is truly the Accountant To The Stars.
    Jae is a member of The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (Juno Awards), The Canadian Independent Music Association, Folk Music Ontario and Music Ontario. He also sits on the board for Humber College, Film TV and Comedy. 

    When it comes to accounting, Jae's philosophy is, "We are in show business; the show happens in front of the curtain, and the business behind it - we take care of it!”


    With over 30 years in the entertainment business, and a wealth of experience and dexterity when it comes to artist representation and talent booking, Ralph James has a distinguished and celebrated career that spans thousands of artists and live music shows, numerous accolades and a wealth admiration from his colleagues and peers around the world.

    Ralph began his career as the bass player for CBS rock band Harlequin, touring North and South America for over a decade before helping to foster The Agency Group (Canada) in 1996 along with Neil Warnock and Jack Ross. He started with a small roster of established Canadian artists, and notably signed then-unknown acts such as Nickelback and Billy Talent among others, who have since garnered massive international success and appeal.


    Sophie Milman is a charismatic young Russian-born, Israeli-raised, Toronto-based jazz vocalist who’s well on her way to becoming an international sensation.  She’s been a household name in Canada since 2004, when her debut album established her as a major artist in her adopted home country.  Since then, she’s continued to take the jazz world by storm, topping the Billboard jazz and iTunes charts Canada, the U.S., France and Japan, winning a Juno Award, and captivating audiences worldwide.In the Moonlight, Milman’s fourth album, finds the artist creating her most sophisticated and accomplished work to date, drawing upon her sublime interpretive skills and unique personal history to deliver a deeply compelling set of jazz and pop standards that showcases the subtle emotional shadings of her singing.


    Josh Grossman is an accomplished musician and Arts Administrator. He was Artistic Director for the Markham Jazz Festival from 2006 to 2009, and for two years served on the board of the Jazz Performance and Education Centre (JPEC). In January, 2010 Josh was hired as Artistic Director for Toronto Downtown Jazz (TDJ), which produces the annual TD Toronto Jazz Festival, one of Canada’s largest international music festivals.


    Sam Arraj is the founder and publisher of Music Biz Finance. He has over 8 years of experience in assisting businesses on all things finance, including music and entertainment businesses. Sam was the president of the Country Music Association of Ontario for three terms and has assisted many music businesses in raising money. He understands the complex world of the music business.
