    Michael Morabito

Michael Morabito is a young saxophone player based out of the Greater Hamilton Area and the Niagara region. He first picked up the saxophone in high school and hasn’t been able to put it down since.

During high school he started playing jazz gigs professionally. He has now entered his third year Mohawk College Applied Music program, where he has been on the honour role every semester and has been given many awards for his work.

Michael studies privately under Adrean Farrugia and has had lessons with Kelly Jefferson, Nick Morgan, Michael Stuart, Darcy Hepner and Kenji Omae. He plays with an assortment of jazz ensembles, Zach Preston and Estilo Cohiba, Grey \\ Water, and has been seen sitting in with LMT Connection.

With these groups Michael has been fortunate enough to play the TD Brandford Jazz Festival, the TD Oakville Jazz Festival, the TD Niagara Jazz Festival, the Toronto Undergraduate Jazz Festival as well as other festivals and events all across Southern Ontario.
