Brad Mehldau Trio to Release "Ode" March 13th

The Brad Mehldau Trio is releasing "Ode," an album of original material, March 13, on Nonesuch Records.

"Ode" marks the first record for the trio since their 2008 live Village Vanguard release, and the first foray in the studio since 2005's "Day Is Done."
Mehldau's trio, comprised of Mehldau on piano, Jeff Ballard on drums and, Larry Grenadier on bass, have planned a North American tour for the spring with label mate Joshua Redman and in solo shows.
